African Research Security Consortium
Project Description: Sandia National Laboratories' (SNL) Academic Research Security Program, in partnership with the U.S. Department of State, seeks to engage with university stakeholders in Africa to promote research security in higher education that protects intellectual property and prevents illicit technology transfer. This series will help organizations establish best practices to protect knowledge, data, and technology.
The goal of this effort is to form a research security consortium involving partners from prominent research institutions in Africa. Ten remote webinars will engage participants on the core principles surrounding research security. Following the webinars, select participants will be invited to participate in an in-person event to formally establish the research consortium.
